| 1) I have decided to join Ridgedale. What is the first step?
Request a membership application. Contact Alexandra LaCombe at membership@ridgedaleplayers.com . Or, even better, download the application by clicking here. You can also pay online using PayPal. Just go to the "ticket" page to purchase your membership.
2) What happens then?
You will receive a current member roster that contains important dates and answers to many questions. You will also receive our newletter, Backstage.
From time to time, another member will call to identify upcoming activities. You will identify areas of interest in your application.

3) How do I get involved?
We are in constant need of people to staff various aspects of play production. These may include set construction, lights, sound, props, costumes or hospitality. JAR (Junior Actors of Ridgedale) shows present further opportunities for member involvement.
By reading the Backstage, you should receive all the information you need to become an active member.
4) What about helping on a play?
We need people every night of a performance. If you have the time, contact Dave to be "directed" to the proper person.
Generally, our members work hard, but also have fun while doing it. After many rehearsals, there is ample time for socializing. After most performances, there is a cast party hosted by one or more cast members. We have several more formal parties throughout the season.
5) What if I joined for my kids?
Our JAR coordinators will contact you to inform you of audition dates and how you can help on JAR activities. In order for your children to enjoy the full benefits of membership, parents or guardians are required to join our adult group.
Many members originally join for their children but end up helping on the regular shows because they had so much fun.
The key to making Ridgedale worthwhile is to get involved. The more you put into your experience, the more you will get out of it.
