Ridgedale offers a wide variety of "behind-the-scenes" volunteer activities for those who want to be involved, but may not feel comfortable onstage or in the "limelight." If you enjoy dressing in black, for instance, you might consider working as one of our prop people, helping to set the stage for the next scene.

Do you enjoy sewing?  Are you good with a needle?  We'd love to have you be a part of our costume committee for a show.

If you're a techno-geek power freak, you might get into our lighting and sound systems, which are an integral part of each show (no dress code here). Or maybe you're a frustrated interior decorator. Help us with set decoration and put to good use those creative skills.

Of course, you can't decorate the set until it's built, and that's where set construction comes in. Who knows? Maybe you could get enough experience to work at Home Depot!

Play Reading & Casting

If you are interested in being on the Play Reading and Casting committee for next season, now is the time to speak up! This exciting committee requires a lot of reading, plus attendance at all casting sessions (usually Monday evenings) and one meeting per month.

This represents a tremendous opportunity to help shape the Ridgedale season. From comedies to musicals and dramas, it's a wide open field for all to consider.

For more information, please contact Julie Fuller at julief@ridgedaleplayers.com.

Please remember that although we may like to, we cannot accept everyone!

Those interested in other volunteer activities, contact Dave Scott at:
dave@ridgedaleplayers.com.

He will put you in touch with the proper Board Chairperson.

Hospitality

For 75 years, Ridgedale has served sandwiches and coffee to its patrons after each show. This time-honored and tasty activity requires extensive use of volunteers, who help prepare the sandwiches in our kitchen and also help serve them at the conclusion of each performance.
